The home side came flying out of the traps, scoring four before the break with John Peter's fourth goal in four matches providing scant consolation for the Brighton League side, who never really got going.
In the league, Portslade Athletic eased their relegation worries with a 1-0 win at home to Hanover while Montpelier Villa kept their faint title hopes alive with a 4-3 victory against Master Tiles.
